Transport Union Strike
The Swedish Transport Workers’ Union (Transport) has announced industrial action against the Swedish Aviation Industry Employers’ Association (Svenska Flygbranschen), as part of ongoing negotiations regarding the Cabin Crew Agreement (Kabinavtalet). The strike applies to Swedish cabin crew and will impact SAS operations. However, not all flights will be affected.
It is important to clarify that the strike notice is not directed at any specific airline, but at Svenska Flygbranschen (the Swedish Aviation Industry Group) – the consequences will affect all member airlines of Svenska Flygbranschen.
If a strike occurs, it will take effect on Wednesday, 28 May at 04:30. At SAS, we remain hopeful that the central parties will reach an agreement before 28 May, allowing operations to continue as normal.
